LYME Regis interim boss Rob Fellingham described as a “massive game” the Seasiders’ derby with Sidmouth Town Seconds at Davey Fort on Saturday (3pm).

Lyme lost to the Vikings 3-2 in early February and come into the return fixture in fifth, one place ahead of their rivals in the Devon & Exeter League Premier Division.

However, Fellingham’s side have not tasted victory on home turf since a 2-0 win over Okehampton on February 4.

And with four losses and two victories in the past six games, the Seasiders’ caretaker is looking to improve his team’s form.

He told the Bridport & Lyme Regis News: “It’s a massive game for us and nice to be at home again.

“It will be interesting because we played them in one of my first games in charge and lost 3-2. That was a close game and we didn’t do ourselves justice. It will be a good test of where we’re at.

“It’s always good to have these local games and in our little mini-league we want to finish above them.

“Sidmouth have won five of their last six so they’re in quite good form but once it clicks it really does click.

“It just hasn’t happened. We’ve been down in several games and had tough opposition. Other games, we haven’t done ourselves justice.

“Fingers crossed we can get that win and confidence, then build from there.”

Callum Garrett, Ethan Matthews, Cam Fowler and Gary Knight return but Jack Lamb-Wilson misses out.
