BRIDPORT will kick off their 2024/25 Walter C Parson Peninsula League campaign at home to Teignmouth, following the release of the Bees’ fixture list.

Hoping to better last season’s finish of fifth, Bridport open on Saturday, August 3 and follow up with another home fixture three days later against neighbours Sidmouth Town.

Three away clashes against Torrington, Elburton and Cullompton are next up, before Bridport begin their FA Vase campaign on Saturday, August 24.

New Peninsula side Middlezoy Rovers, who sidestepped from Western League Division One, visit St Mary’s Field on Saturday, October 5.

One week later, the Bees make the lengthy trip to Launceston in the Walter C Parson League Cup before a visit to last season’s nemesis Okehampton on Saturday, October 26.

Bridport have four league fixtures in November and four in December, when they will hope to avoid the bad weather that flooded their headquarters twice before Christmas.

Chris Herbst’s men are this year away to Axminster Town on Boxing Day, with their first fixture of 2025 coming on Saturday, January 4 away to Bovey Tracey.

Bridport have requested their spare weekend for Saturday, January 18 and travel to Middlezoy seven days later.

Four fixtures follow for February, with the majority of March and April set aside for rearranged matches in light of expected postponements due to poor weather.

The only confirmed games in these months are Stoke Gabriel & Torbay Police away on Saturday, March 8 and Axminster Town at home on Good Friday, the 18th of April.

The Peninsula League season is scheduled to finish on Saturday, April 26.
