WHILST it is encouraging to hear progress is being made to open businesses in the town, until we have access to adequate toilets, the town is effectively closed to those with small children, medical problems and the elderly.
I do not consider, that one, malodorous, subterranean cubicle in South Street, without water or soap fits the bill. In fact it is an ideal breeding ground for the virus. Why have the bus station toilets remained closed when they are open to the air? What happens to the passengers on the long distance buses, that stop for a comfort stop?
Dorset Council have had enough time, by now, to sort out this problem.
