As someone over 70 living alone, since lockdown I have driven from Bridport two or three times a week to Felicity’s Farm Shop, which seems to be able to supply most of my needs in what feels like a courteous and safe environment.

I stick religiously to the newish 30mph limit going out of Chideock, but I am invariably, regularly, and persistently overtaken by what seems like every other vehicle on the road. Have I missed something?

By the way, I think the lack of air traffic is a major contributor to the extra visibility and extraordinarily blue sea and sky.
