Letter: Leave these verges
I have been admiring all of the lovely wild flowers that are coming out on the grass verges that haven’t been cut down Hospital Lane in Bridport, but sadly the other day some of the grass was cut back so low it just looks awful.
Please can we leave these verges for the wildlife, Plantlife are encouraging ‘No Mow May’, anybody can take part in this and see the real benefits it brings to our fast disappearing insects.
So please leave the verges for the wildlife.
