Use this form to submit a letter for publication to the Bridport News.

Letters are welcome on any topic, but preference may be given to subjects of local interest. Please limit letters to a maximum of 150-words.

While letters may be published with 'name and address supplied,' preference is normally given to identified writers. All letters and e-mails for publication must include the writer's name and full postal address. We do not publish anonymous submissions.

We reserve the right to edit letters.

E-mails are an increasingly popular form of communication and as a consequence, more and more time has to be spent dealing with them.

Please observe the same rules of punctuation, grammar, spelling, etc, as you would when writing in more traditional fashion.

There is a danger that submissions which present too much of a problem in editing will not be considered."

We only take your details so we can verify or clarify letters.

We also use writers' names and partial addresses on letters we print or publish online. Your details will not be kept on our files after publication and we won't pass them on to anyone else.

If you don't want your name or address published with your letter, please say so - this is at the editor's discretion. We still need your details for verification or clarification purposes.
