WE were approached by a parent whose daughter lives at Greenhills Care Home in St Andrew’s Road, Bridport to fund a series of decking platforms to enable the residents to use their garden as access for the majority of residents was not possible. West Dorset Mencap is committed to supporting local people with learning disabilities within the community so we were only too happy to help.
We would like to thank Paul Hallett (parent), Tony Symes and Bob Adams for carrying out the task so professionally.
We would also like thank Bridport Building Supplies for all their help and understanding during the project.
Paul also asked us to thank the staff at Greenhills, in particular Shelley for all of the teas and breakfasts which kept everyone going.
