I have still not seen any work going on on the scaffolding at Goadsby’s estate agent office in Bridport, or on the cancer charity shop.

Any visitors in the summer would have missed seeing the old building, but only now do I see an application for repairs.

Who was the bright spark that had the extra gravel placed around the trees in the town? It just gets scattered all over the place and looks awful.

When I went up to Mountfield to vote in May I called to see the town council and told them the seat at the old police station needs repairing. One of the bottom rails has come out, making it hard to sit down.

Weeks and months have come and gone and it has still not been repaired.

When I went to Beaminster to see the First World War exhibition in the museum before it ended, I noticed for the first time that the shop is almost directly opposite the factory entrance.

The whole front has been renewed, which is odd because some years ago the then owners would not alter it as the tiles were art deco, so what has changed?
