Calls are being made for more bins on West Dorset's beaches
February 14 saw bad storms rip along our coast and West Bay was no exception, getting its share of damage.
Along the Promenade below the West Cliff the waste bins were either swept away or removed because they were damaged, result – not one waste container left. Four months on it looks the same, not a single bin has been replaced. Daily our dedicated team of cleaners removes the debris from the ground, with the coming holiday season it is going to get much worse. When we say ‘don’t drop it, bin it’ – let’s have the bins to do that.
