As a daily visitor to Pinhay House for a year, I was interested and saddened to read your article about CQC inspection reports.
The CQC conducted an unannounced inspection shortly after a change in management at the home. Under the new management, there has been a steady regime of improvements, both in relation to the inspector’s concerns, which the new manager inherited, and also in other aspects of life in the home.
My close relative, a resident, received high quality care, in a homely environment where everyone is treated with dignity as an individual by devoted, skilled staff and was very happy there. I have no reservation in recommending Pinhay House to those requiring high quality care.
