AIR Horse One completed a hat-trick of victories after being produced at the perfect time to strike in the Les Ambassadeurs Casino Handicap Hurdle at Ascot.

After sweeping into the lead over the last under the Harry Fry-trained 7-1 chance, pressed on up the run-in before prevailing by a length and a half from Divine Spear.

Reacting to the victory for his yard, Seaborough handler Fry said: “He could not win a handicap at the start of the season, albeit that was at Cheltenham off 122.

“We gave him a couple of tries, then we were able to drop him back into maiden and novice company to get his head in front and give him a bit of confidence.

“He has done great and jumped really well.

“We said last time at Taunton when he won that qualifies him for the EBF final at Sandown and we thought we would go straight there, but we saw this race and he was in good form.”
