GOING TO POST: Red Brook Lad and Charlotte Tizzard
RED BROOK LAD will go to post in the Montepelier Hunters' Chase at Newbury today.
The 12-year-old, owned and trained by Charlie Fox at his Askerswell headquarters, was last seen at Ludlow in February when Viscount Bankes beat him by a quarter of a length.
The chestnut gelding's training partner Cobreces was also entered in the three-mile chase but was withdrawn because the ground will be too firm at the Berkshire course.
