CHRIS Herbst warned his Bridport players there will be “repercussions” after their 5-0 loss to Okehampton Argyle.

Bridport have a chance to put things right this evening at home to Stoke Gabriel & Torbay Police (7.45pm), also nicknamed 'The Bees'.

But Bees’ boss Herbst is unafraid to exact a major shake-up with his line-up after what he described as the worst performance in his tenure.

He said: “It’s the same mentality of going into it thinking we’re going to win. It isn’t like that in any standard.

“If you go into it thinking you’re going to win, nine times out of 10 you aren’t going to.

“It’s a big reaction now. I haven’t decided what I’m going to do but if people are dropped they’ve got no argument for it.

“I’m just going to pick what I think is my best team. If you’re not in it, you’ve got to work to get back. Me and Jim (Lukosius, coach) have wasted a whole week preparing and they’ve churned that out.

“I’m not accepting that as a manager, no chance. I wouldn’t accept it as a player either.

“If I did that, I would know there’s going to be repercussions and there has to be.”

Fred Parsons, Riley Weedon, Toby Diaz, Adam Diaz, Darren Lock and Ryan Leader could return.
