BRIDPORT and Honiton Town remain cursed by postponement after this evening’s match at St Mary’s Field fell victim to the weather.

Bridport have twice been forced to postpone the contest due to a waterlogged pitch.

Way back in August, the original fixture was abandoned with the Bees leading the Hippos 4-1 thanks to a floodlight failure.

Entry fees for the game, already rearranged for Monday, April 22, will be free of charge.

Bridport still have seven matches to complete before the end of the season, which has been extended to Tuesday, April 30 when the Bees visit Axminster for what is itself a rearranged game.

Chris Herbst’s men next host Sidmouth Town on Saturday (3pm).
