A pre-school will close its doors following the resignation of its leader.
St Michael's Pre-school in Lyme Regis will "temporarily close" on Friday (25) while a new leader is recruited.
A letter sent to parents last week from acting head Nick Kiddle, said: "Due to the resignation of our pre-school leader, it is with deep regret that I have to inform you we will temporarily close St Michael’s Pre-School, as of March 25, 2016.
"We are making every effort to recruit a suitable replacement as soon as possible for this position.
"Thank you for your support during this time."
The school governors hope to re-open the pre-school as soon as possible.
A statement from the governors said: "The governors are currently in the process of advertising and recruiting for a new pre-school leader and hope that the provision for the young children in Lyme Regis will be re-established as soon as possible.
"The staff and governors at St Michael’s School and Pre-School would like to thank everyone for their valued and continued support."
