Marie Curie Cancer Care is looking for a new volunteer to look after collection tins in shops.
It will be the responsibility of the volunteer to visit the shops every six to 12 weeks to replace full tins, ensuring that all tins are correctly labelled, sealed and secured as necessary.
Full tins are then counted and banked by the volunteer and there is some paperwork to complete as part of the role. This is a flexible role that can fit around other activities, and full training and materials will be provided.
The money generated by the collection tins will help 800 local people across Dorset each year.
