POLICE have recovered stolen property after two homes were raided by officers.
This morning, officers from Bridport Neighbourhood Policing Team and members of Magna Housing’s anti-social behaviour team, carried out searches within two properties of West Rivers House, West Allington.
A police spokesman said: “Two addresses located inside were believed to be linked to the misuse of controlled drugs.
“The subsequent search resulted in the discovery of suspected stolen property and indications that controlled drugs had been misused inside.
“This latest intervention is part of Bridport police’s ongoing operation to target people who we suspect are involved in the supply of illegal drugs, and to tackle the users who bring the associated violence, crime and anti-social behaviour to our town.”
Witnesses and anyone with information about the supply of illegal drugs should call Dorset Police on 101. Alternatively, call the free Crimestoppers number anonymously on 0800 555 111.
