EMERGENCY services were called to a road traffic collision near Maiden Newton earlier this evening.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said two officers attended the scene of the collision, which occurred on the A356 near Rampisham, after being alerted just before 6.20pm and assisted the ambulance service.
He described the incident as a "minor injury" collision involving two vehicles, adding that the road was not closed as a result of the crash.
