Motorists facing delays on A35
MOTORISTS faced long delays on the A35 in Chideock on Friday due to over-running telecoms work.
Travel Dorset said maintenance work being carried out by BT caused delays in both directions on the A35.
They said temporary traffic lights were set up on the A35 Main Street around the junction with North Road, adding that the delays also affected First bus services X31 and X53.
Bridport and Lyme Regis Safer Neighbourhood Team said traffic had been queuing as far back as Bridport.
