BRIDPORT: The Bridport Borough Gardens Community Group needs help.
It has already had a planting day at the borough gardens this summer but now wants more people to come next Tuesday, October 14, to help redesign the wildflower areas.
Chairman Sarah Wilberforce said: “Thanks to everyone who came to help with planting days.
“We need your help again on Tuesday from 11am to redesign our wild flower areas.
“We want to clear out some existing beds and transplant flowers to a new area. Bring your forks and trowels and gardening gloves. Refreshments will be provided. Come and help us breathe new life into this ‘secret garden’ just off the centre of town.”
If you anyone wants their name added to the list of Friends of the Borough Gardens Group to help with future events, contact co-ordinator Maggie Ray – email magieray@aol.com or via the town council offices at Mountfield.
