LIGHTS will bring Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens to life for its annual Enchanted Floodlit event.

The annual illuminations are continuing from dusk onwards until November 4.

Visitors can stroll along candlelit pathways enjoying the Subtropical Gardens from dusk until 8.30pm.

General manager John Houston said: “Romance and serenity reign supreme during our Enchanted Floodlit evenings.

“Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens are at their most splendid when the leaves on the ancient trees are a riot of autumn colours, bathed in the wonderful night lights.

“I personally think the best way to appreciate the gardens at this time of year is to wander round during the daylight hours, retire to the Colonial Restaurant for soup or supper, then venture out again to be entranced by the calming, charming spectacle of Abbotsbury by night.”

The walk around the gardens takes about 40 minutes with a shorter route, which is also suitable for wheelchairs.
