An evening of jazz entertainment is coming to Bridport next month.
Jazz pianist John Law will be performing with his quartet in a new show John Law’s Re-Creations at Bridport Arts Centre at 8pm Friday, May 3.
The event will blend the jazz, pop, and classical genres with various regroup will present new arrangements of well-known tunes including Smoke on the Water, Blowin’ in the Wind, Fly Me to the Moon and Debussy’s Clair de Lune.
The quartet features Danish bass player Henrik Jensen and drummer Alex Goodyear and Parliamentary Jazz Award winning saxophonist Sam Crockatt.
