A BIN caught fire outside a pub in Bridport last night.
Firefighters were called to The Greyhound - JD Wetherspoon East Street last night after a fire started on the roadside.
The fire was caught on camera by Simon and Jody March as the blaze could be seen from down the street.
Firefighters were called and tackled the fire for eight minutes.
The bin was destroyed in the fire.
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue said: "We were called to East Street, Bridport at 11.51pm last night (April 11) for a bin on fire.
"One crew from Bridport attended and used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire."
Simon March said: "We saw the fire from a distance to start with and wondered what was happening.
"We thought it was a car on fire to start with.
"Then we noticed the crowd of youths and it was actually a bin that had gone up.
"No staff from spoons appeared present and there were no signs of any emergency vehicles nearby seen or heard."
