FIND out more about Dorset bridges of the past at a talk to be held next week.
Local historian Bernard Paull will be the speaker at the next meeting of the Bridport History Society.
He will talk on the subject at 2.30pm on Thursday, October 12 at the United Church Hall, East Street, in Bridport.
Mr Paull will be talking about Dorset Bridges Spanning the Ages, the subject of his new book. It takes readers on a journey along the rivers, highways and byways of Dorset. Copies of Mr Paull's book will be on sale.

The history society holds meetings at the United Church Hall, East Street, Bridport, DT6 3LJ on the second Thursday of the month (except July and August) at 2.15 pm for a 2.30pm start.
