Listen to the classic sounds of swing at a Bridport concert.

American clarinettist, Frank Griffith has been performing regularly in Bridport for more than a decade and is set to return to Bridport Arts Centre with Benny Vibes Again on Saturday, October 7, at 7.30pm.

Joining Mr Griffith on stage is vibist Roger Beaujolais and together the duo will play some swing era gems like Runnin Wild, Stealin Apples, Airmail Special, After You’ve Gone, Don’t Be That Way and Goodbye.

The Benny Vibes Again concert is a tribute to the music of Benny Goodman and Lionel Hampton.

Mr Griffith’s shows have featured internationally recognised UK jazz musicians like Tina May, Darius Brubeck, Byron Wallen, Jay Phelps, Tony Kofi, Rachel More and Gareth Williams. 

His work pays tribute to some of the jazz greats, including Miles Davis, Dave Brubeck and Ella Fitzgerald.

The clarinettist has worked with the likes of The Glenn Miller Orchestra, Mel Torme, Sir John Dankworth, Dame Cleo Laine, Tony Coe and Laurie Holloway, the bandleader for The Michael Parkinson show.
