An almost three mile stretch of a road going from Bridport through Salway Ash to Broadwindsor will be closed for five days in March.
The B3162 is one of the main routes between Broadwindsor and Bridport and is the main road for Salway Ash village.
It will be closed for a distance of approximately 4680 metres from its junction with C96, Bowood Cross, and the entrance to Washingpool Farm from Monday, March 6 to Friday, March 10 from 9am to 4pm.
During the closure period, there will be no on-street parking available, and the road will be open overnight.
The closure is to allow for carriageway maintenance work and an alternative route will be posted.
