A man arrested after “making threats” at a supermarket whilst in possession of a knife has appeared in court.
Ethan Patrick Knight, whose address was given as Kingsway in Lyme Regis, appeared before Poole Magistrates’ Court today, where he pleaded guilty to one count of affray and one count of possessing a knife or bladed article in a public place.
Police were called to Tesco Express in Broad Street, Lyme Regis, shortly before 9.45pm on Tuesday after reports of a man making threats whilst in possession of a knife.
Officers attended the call and arrested Knight, 26, at the scene. A knife was recovered with nobody injured during the incident.
The case was adjourned to be sentenced at Bournemouth Crown Court on Friday, February 17.
