A car has been left burnt out after catching fire on a key road.
Firefighters raced to Monkey's Jump Roundabout, on the A35, late on Saturday night after the Mini ignited.
A crew from Dorchester Fire Station attended the scene shortly before 9pm and, using breathing apparatus and a single hosereel jet, managed to put out the fire.
It is not reported that anyone was injured.
A spokesperson for Dorchester Fire Station said: "At approximately 20:48 yesterday evening a crew from Dorchester responded to a vehicle fire on the Monkeys jump roundabout.
"Crews used breathing apparatus and one hosereel jet to extinguish the fire."
