All places on the Young Technicians’ Course, which is aimed at those aged between 16-25, are free of charge.

The course includes:

* Masterclasses held by industry professionals

* Hands-on workshop sessions

* The chance to shadow the technical team as they stage manage live gigs

* The opportunity for the Young Creatives to independently manage a full show

Meanwhile, the Stage and Screen Acting Course, which costs £100, starts at the same venue on Tuesday, January 11.

Experienced actor Billy Geraghty leads a 10-week class, exploring techniques for theatre acting and how to adapt them for camera. It offer participants the opportunity to perform short scenes - both on stage and for the camera, with a public sharing at the end of the course using the theatre's cinema screen.

Participants will learn about the differences when performing for the stage and screen, alongside tips and tricks for self taping at home, audition help and even how to operate the technical equipment.

If you’re working on auditions for drama school, making your own film, or have a public speaking engagement, this course offers an introduction into the world of acting.
