An ice cream company is celebrating after brrrilliant news allowed them to expand their premises.

Baboo Gelato, run by Sam and Annie Handbury, was outgrowing its production unit based on the Pineapple Business Park in Salway Ash after three successful years.

Due to this success, the pair did not want to move away from the park, so approached the park to discuss their requirements.

Andrew Dyke of Pineapple Business Park, said: "We worked closely with Baboo Gelato and PH Hardwill Ltd to accommodate Baboo's needs and provide the flexibility to expand."

Mr Dyke joined Philip Hardwill of P H Hardwill Ltd to hand over the keys of a newly enlarged unit to Sam and Annie.

Annie Hanbury said: "I'd like to say how happy we are with the extension, it really is a great space.

"We were desperately in need of extra space to meet customer demand, and Pineapple Business Park could not have been more helpful, involving us in the design from the very start.

"P H Hardwill Ltd were extremely professional, enabling us to keep working throughout the expansion process.

"Thank you very much to all involved for making it possible, and for putting it all together in such a smooth and seamless way."

Baboo Gelato uses local ingredients to make ice cream for sale at their two kiosks in Lyme and West Bay, as well as in a rapidly increasing number of restaurants and delicatessens.
