Emergency services were called to a crash between a bus and a car in west Dorset.

Police and firefighters were called at around 12.30pm to reports of a two-vehicle crash on the A35 in Chideock.

The ambulance service was also called although police said there are no reports of injuries.

A spokesman for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue said two crews from Bridport attended. Firefighters assisted a casualty and made the scene safe.

The bus was able to drive away but recovery has been requested for the car, an Audi.
