ST James Park Nursing Home had a successful dog show to raise funds for The Dogs Trust.
Residents and visitors enjoyed watching a variety of breeds including a bassett hound, springer spaniel, chihuahua, Jack Russell and some adorable mongrels.
Classes included waggiest tail, best coat in show, most obedient, best dressed and a hilarious ‘resist the sausage’.
Dogs were awarded certificates, rosettes and toys which were donated by Beaminster company Kong.
Everyone at St James Park would also like to give a big thank you to Lynne Towers of ‘Pets-n-Pics’ of Beaminster who gave up her time to come and judge the show.
The day was a success raising more than £50 for the Dogs Trust and giving residents, staff and visitors a memorable bank holiday.
