After a year of filming and editing, the documentary Made in Bridport has now been released for public viewing online. The 24-minute film features aerial footage of the St Michael’s Trading Estate by Chris Hornby, interviews with many of the tenants, and other Bridport residents who are backing Enterprise St Michael’s in its efforts to improve the outlook for this hub of manufacturing and trade.
The film also includes a feature on the BMX and skate arena The Trick Factory, and contributions from human rights lawyer Clive Stafford Smith OBE, and from Tim Crabtree, now senior lecturer at Schumacher College in Devon, and the instigator of farmers markets and Local Food Links.
The film is narrated by Julie Wood with a soundtrack by local composer Robert Lee.
Glenn Crawford, director of Enterprise St Michael’s Ltd said: “Made in Bridport has been highly praised as a documentary about Bridport since its first screening at the Electric Palace in August.”
