MOTORISTS are facing delays near Beaminster due to an overturned car.
Police were called to find a blue VW Polo, registered to a woman from Yeovil, on its roof.
The A3066 Prout Hill is partially blocked between the B3163 Whitcombe Road junction and the Mapperton Lane junction.
The driver managed to crawl out of the car and get to safety, before alerting the emergency services. She was not seriously injured. Officers remain at the scene while the vehicle is being recovered.
A spokesman for South West Ambulance service said: “We were called at 7.30am to Bridport Road in Beaminster, where there was one car involved in a RTC.
“The car had rolled on to its roof. There was one female casualty who suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.”
