A MAN who went missing from his Lyme Regis home has been found safe and well a day after he disappeared.

Simon Evans, 42, was last seen at 7.30am on Tuesday and police appealed to the public to help trace him.

Mr Evans was believed to have travelled to the Devon and Cornwall area in his black SAAB and police said he had been very upset recently.

Chief Inspector Debbie Marsden, of Dorset Police, said his family were ‘extremely concerned’ about him and wanted to make sure he was alright.

Dorset Police said Mr Evans was found in the Cornwall area today.

A spokesman said: “Mr Evans has been found safe and well and located in the Cornwall area, so a big thank you for all your assistance on this one.”
