Family-friendly musical The Wizard of Oz is coming to Weymouth Pavilion next month as part of its nationwide tour.

This timeless classic comes to Weymouth on Saturday, October 28 and stars Channel 5 Milkshake star Jen Pringle as Dorothy.

Hold on to your hats and get ready to fly over the rainbow in this new adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s

adventure. The Wizard of Oz features magical songs, beautiful costumes and scenery, plus a host of colourful characters.

This heart-warming story, has toured the UK before - to great acclaim – prior to this current re-imagining, which features loveable characters, audience interaction plus some original and well-known songs

to create an enchanting and exciting production that captures the spirit and joy of this wonderful story.

Developed from the much- loved L. Frank Baum story - this fast paced, colourful musical - which has recently returned from a sell-out international and UK tour, features all the favourite characters and iconic moments, plus an exciting mix of familiar songs and original compositions.

So click your heels together and join Scarecrow, Tin Man, Lion, Dorothy and her little dog Toto, as they journey through the magical land of Oz to meet the wizard and obtain their hearts’ desires. Watch out for the Wicked Witch of the West as you rediscover the real story of Oz in this fantastic musical treat for the whole family.
