A three day Veast of Folk will liven up a Dorset village.

The fun-packed Veasdt includes live music, a Ceilidh and a Music in the Garden event.

Burton Bradstock’s 4th Veast of Folk 2017 kicks off with two free events at the Anchor Inn on Thursday September 14 September from 7pm when there will be a special Anchor Session with local bands, and on Friday September 15 at the Anchor from 1pm to 4pm there is an Acoustic Singalong.

There is free entry to this session and a collection in aid of the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.

The Family Ceilidh on Friday September 15 will see Tatterdemalion welcomed back with caller Angela Laycock at Burton Bradstock Village Hall from 7pm to 10pm, with music and dance, a bar, supper and raffle and all profits going to the RNLI.

The Veast culminates in a free Music in Garden celebration at the The Three Horseshoes Pub and Kitchen in Burton Bradstock on Saturday September 16 from 12.30pm to 6pm.

There will be a special Veast menu, music from local bands including Bill Cain, Elfentale, HiDDeN, Last Gasp Orchestra, Lost Souls, Mor or Less and Whiskey Headed Buddies.

Although this event is free donations will be welcomed and there will be a raffle and all proceeds going to the RNLI.
