Get ready to rumble with more wrestling at Weymouth Pavilion

Mark Haskins is the current holder of the British Heavyweight Championship and will defend the belt at the Pavilion, where he won the title back in April.

He beat former champion Marty Scurll at that show in a thrilling main event, in which he was finally able to overcome Scurll's villainous tactics to score the victory.

Haskins, known as 'The Star Attraction', will step into the ring with 'The Righteous' Joseph Conners on Saturday, August 20.

He said: "Weymouth is a very special place for me – and for the whole of Fight Nation.

"It’s the town where I won the British Heavyweight Championship back in April.

"The fans couldn’t have been more supportive of me on that evening, and that truly means a lot. I cannot wait to come back."

The battle between Haskins and Scurll was recorded for Fight Nation's new YouTube series 'Wednesday Night Wrestling', which showcases the best of the promotion's live events.

Haskins added: "The debut of Wednesday Night Wrestling has been huge for us.

"Not only have we been reaching our audiences at live events, but by putting our show on YouTube we now have worldwide reach and worldwide appeal.

"The people of Weymouth are a part of that, and can be a part of that again when we come back to the Weymouth Pavilion."

The August event at the Pavilion will feature many of Fight Nation's biggest stars, including athletic youngster Ryan Smile, the monstrous Big Grizzly and Joel Redman, who was a tag team champion in WWE NXT.

The next challenger for the championship will be decided when 'The Anarchist' James Castle and Psycho Phillips face off.

There will also be a rematch from the previous Weymouth show as fan favourites DND take on the arrogant duo known as Liquid Dreams.

Fight Nation runs shows in a number of towns in the south, including Eastbourne and Canterbury, as well as Weymouth.
