MUSICAL star Lee Mead is bringing his new show Some Enchanted Evening to Dorset in March.

Lee, who show to fame in the hunt for Joseph on the BBC show Any Dream Will Do, is also set to release an album of the same name marking a return to his musical roots.

His credits include leading roles in hit West End musicals Joseph, Wicked, and Legally Blonde and on TV in Casualty, is celebrating Mother’s Day 2016 with the album featuring his interpretations of much loved songs from the golden age of Hollywood.

Produced and arranged by Mason Neely, Lee’s musical director, Some Enchanted Evening sees Lee fulfil a personal ambition to record some of his own personal favourites from the films he watched on the small screen as a child.

Neely has created some new arrangements for the album but the songs still retain their authenticity.

Lee will also be starring in the touring production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang as Caractacus Potts from May through to September 2016.
