A NEW face is looking forward to seeing customers at IJ Brown opticians in Bridport.
Picture left shows Alun Beaven, partner of the IJ Brown Partnership, Ophthalmic Opticians, welcoming Trudi Loud to the firm.
Optometrist Trudi has lived in Bridport for 18 years and previously worked at Melson Wingate opticians.
She is an honours graduate of Aston University and has previously been involved in training opticians.
She said her new career change will give her the opportunity of providing 'personal and professional eye care in a truly independent environment where patients come first'.
IJ Brown is the largest independent optician in Dorset with practices in Bridport, Weymouth, Dorchester and Swanage. The partnership celebrates its 125th anniversary this year.
Mr Beaven said: "I would like to thank everyone for their continued support and looks forward to providing quality eye care at competitive prices for both new and existing patients for many years to come."
