On behalf of the Wessex Military Band I would like to say thank you to everyone who has supported us this year.
We played Bucky Doo Square on five occasions and were pleased to lead the carnival procession in August. We were also honoured to take part in the annual Remembrance Sunday parade a couple of weeks ago.
Already we are making plans for next year but need to recruit more players so that we can maintain and improve our current standard. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Bridport Town Council for their continued support and for providing us with a shelter electricity and chairs on Bucky Doo when we needed them.
Finally, a quick reminder that our last concert of the year will be held at the Bridport Arts Centre on Sunday, December 1. We are already rehearsing some music especially for the concert but will be including some old favourites as well. So why not come along and help us to finish another successful year in style.
