Is the money being spent on Sea Road North cycle path good value?

Sea Road South path is used perhaps twice a day only it appears. I travel this road regularly and frequently and seldom see cyclist using it. The “lycra cyclists” use the road.

The cost per cyclist must be thousands of pounds, perhaps dealing with the potholes and deformed surfaces would be a better recipient for this money?

As an aside, I note there is a ramp to encourage cyclists to join the traffic going north on Sea Road North opposite the Coop. Accident waiting to happen?
