Say no to litter! On Tuesday, January 13, two volunteers and I decided to do something about the horrendous litter around the new cycle track from the Co-op to Bradpole. In two hours we collected five black bags full of plastics, polystyrene, cardboard, drinks cans, sweet papers, aluminium foil and worst of all, so called biodegradable bags of dog poo.
They aren’t. This was just between the vets and the Co-op gateway – there is so much more to collect further along the bank towards Lidl.
We are going to continue our crusade, weather permitting, until the banks along our River Asker are cleared of rubbish.
