LYME Regis manager Robin Townsend is looking to build upon a great result against Shaftesbury when they play away at Cullompton Rangers Seconds in Division One of the Devon & Exeter Football League.

In their last match Lyme Regis comfortably won 0-3 away at Shaftesbury Reserves in the Dorset Senior Cup.

Cullompton Rangers are fifth in the table, four points and two places behind Lyme Regis.

Their home match against the University of Exeter at the weekend had to be cancelled due to a waterlogged pitch.

The lack of a match gave Declan Blackland-Ellis and Ben Turner a chance to have a run out with the reserves, as they beat Canford United in the Dorset Intermediate Cup.

Manager Robin Townsend said: “We’ve slipped up a little bit in the league recently and we need to get back to winning ways. We want to build on a great result we had against Shaftesbury.”

“We’re expecting a good game, we played them before two years ago when we were in the same division so we know it’s going to be a tough game.”

Darren Lock may be out with a thigh strain while they are waiting to see if Kieron Daniels will be available after a knee injury.
