LYME Regis made it back-to-back wins in Devon & Exeter Division Two as they beat Dawlish United 4-1 at Davey Fort.
A hat-trick from Declan Ellis and one goal from Mark Bailey ensured the Seasiders secured their seventh league win from 12 league games this season, meaning they sit fifth in the league table.
Rob Thom’s men are also in free-flowing scoring form, having racked up nine goals in their last two home games.
The Seasiders will look to make it a hat-trick of victories in the division this Saturday when they travel to East Budleigh (3pm), who were beaten 3-2 by Halwill last weekend.
East Budleigh have only won one of their opening 15 league games this season and currently sit second from bottom of the pile.
Henry’s Cronies still head the way at the top of the table and are the only side not to be defeated in the league so far this term.
Elsewhere, the Lyme Regis second team’s weekend fixture against Pinhoe Seconds was postponed in Devon & Exeter Division Seven.
They will look to get back in action when they host Tivvy Park Rangers this Saturday (3pm).
In the Perry Street Premier Division, Lyme Bantams were beaten 8-0 at South Petherton.
Looking to bounce back, the Bantams host fourth-placed Perry Street this Saturday (2.30pm).
