LYME Regis will be looking to get back in action on Saturday as they face an away clash against Cullompton Rangers Seconds in Devon & Exeter Division Two (3pm).
The Seasiders have also been boosted off the field, with a £100,000 grant from the Town Council to be split over four years to extend the pitch, extend the clubhouse with a new kitchen, as well as tarmacking and fencing the car park at Davey Fort.
Speaking about the funding, delighted club chairman Howard Larcombe said: “We would never be able to raise that sort of money ourselves so it was always going to be through some sort of grant.
“We got all that we asked for, we have obviously to find some other funds ourselves.”
