LYME Regis do not look set to name a new manager in the coming days, according to club chairman Howard Larcombe.
The Seasiders are searching for a new boss after manager Tim Edwards stepped down from the main coaching role of the Devon & Exeter Division Two outfit earlier this month.
Edwards’ former assistant Rob Thom is currently taking the side on a caretaker basis and while Larcombe said there were “one or two irons in the fire” in the search for a new chief, he does not expect a new boss to be named at Davey Fort until after Christmas.
- Lyme went down 3-2 at league leaders Exeter University Thirds last weekend. They take on Hemyock at home on Saturday (2.15pm).
