BRIDPORT boss Adam Fricker feels his side are gelling well as they prepare for their Western League encounter with Willand Rovers tonight (7.45pm).
The Bees recorded their first competitive victory under Fricker on Saturday when they beat Clevedon Town 2-1 on the road last weekend.
They are on their travels again tonight and the manager is expecting another tough test.
He told Echosport: “We should have a full squad. Tom Blair returns from suspension, George Chlopeki and Matt Confliffe will both return.
“We are going down there strong but Willand are a top-six side, so we know it’s going to be a tough task.
“But we are confident that we can improve on the three points that we already have.”
It is still early on in the season, but Fricker believes his side are gaining confidence and will only improve after a mixed start to their campaign.
He added: “We were looking to gel, and I don’t think we will be at our best for another few games.
“But, we’re happy with the squad and happy with the options we’ve got.
“There are no set targets, we want good performances and then the results will come.”
There was some bad news for the club as captain Ryan Hayter is set for another couple of weeks on the sidelines as he continues his recovery from a hip injury picked up in pre-season.
