Bridport manager Chris Herbst has said his side is 'picking up momentum' but 'must win' every game in order to pull themselves up the table.

The Bees have now gone five games without defeat, including three wins, the latest to come against Wessex League Premier side Brockenhurst in the FA Vase.

A hattrick from Sol Ayunga secured the Bees progression into the next round but Herbst doesn't want his players to 'get complacent' when they face Bishops Lydeard this coming Saturday.

He told the News: "We have to go and win, they are a good decent side with lots of youngsters, similar to us but we should be going there and getting the three points and if we play like we have been we will get them.

"But you can't get complacent, nothing is easy, but we will make sure the boys are at it."

On how the season has gone so far, Herbst is pleased the team's results have picked up but realises the slow start to the campaign means the team can't afford any slips ups if they are to be amongst the top teams.

He added: "We are starting to pick up momentum, but I wasn't worried about picking up results as in the early games we were creating chances but we had taken few of them.

"But things are good now  and there is more to improve on which is a positive but we have to win every game now after our start."

In terms of team news for the trip to Somerset, Herbst has no injury concerns but Breyden Jones and Henri Cox may be unavailable

Dan Baggs has left the club but George Calverley will return from suspension.

Kick off in is at 3pm at Cothelstone Road on Saturday, September 28.
