BRIDPORT Tennis Club celebrated a return to action after the winter lockdown by taking part in two American tournaments held on Easter Monday.
The cold and blustery day proved challenging but in no way detracted from the quality or enjoyment, both competitions provided plenty of good competitive tennis.
The morning tournament winners were Peta and Phil Webb, while ladies’ runner-up was Jan Henley, and men’s runner-up was Roy Perkins.
The afternoon event ladies’ winner was Karine Sehn who beat Niamh Vercoe. Scott Carson was the men’s winner, with Colin Wilson runner-up.
